Title: OKTYABRSKAYA REVOLUTSIA (Soviet Battleship)
Caption: In commission from 1911 to circa 1959. Midships area of the ship, seen at an eastern Baltic port in 1956 soon after being disarmed preparatory to scrapping. The floating crane used in the disarming work is partially visible at the extreme left. The cruiser ADMIRAL MAKAROV (ex-German NURNBERG, 1934-1961) is immediately behind the battleship. A "Sverdlov"-class cruiser is barely visible further behind, as are the masts of the SEDOV, a sail training ship.
