Caption: Shown in early April 1941. The stripped destroyer is probably ex-TURNER (YW-56); the tanker is probably NEOSHO (AO-23), PLATTE (AO-24), or SABINE (AO-25); and the two-funneled ex-destroyer is probably LITTLE (APD-4). Note the four-piper destroyers, including one on the marine railway. The tender is RIGEL (AD-13). Part of a new housing development is in the background.
