Title: "Swift" boat (PCF-31)
Caption: Searching a Vietnamese sampan, circa late March 1966, during a patrol in the Soirap River. The radioman, with shotgun, forward, is preparing to jump down and check the sampan. Other crewmen have M-16 rifles, .38cal revolvers, sheath knives and armored vests. When turned over to the Vietnamese Navy on 28 March for checking, the four persons in this sampan turned out to have faulty identification papers and were held as Viet Cong Suspects.
