Title: Unique Fiberglass Boat
Caption: Propelled and steered by jets of water joins Naval patrol operations against the Viet Cong. Designated PBR, the 31 foot boat is armed with a twin .50 cal. machine gun forward and a .30 cal. machine gun aft. Other weapons include Mk-79 grenade launcher, two AR-15 light automatic rifles, a 15 gauge shotgun and .38 cal. pistols. The PBRs are capable of operating in inlets and coves as well as in rivers.
