Title: Crown of Gold Walking Cane
Caption: Among the gifts publicly presented to Master Commandant Louis Warrington of USS PEACOCK, in commemoration of his capture of the British brig of war EPERVIER, off the Florida east coast on 29 April 1814. The gold headed walking cane on the crown of which was engraved the outline of the EPERVIER. The ship as engraved is the size of a dime. On the band below the crown is engraved: "From the ruins of the palace of the Casars to the captor of the EPERVIER."
