This drawing, dated 21 March 1942, is for a 28,000-ton (displacement) ship with a length (between perpendiculars) of 600 feet, capable of carrying a cargo of 13,000 tons of oil at a sustained speed of 20 knots. Scale of the original drawing is 1/32 = 1'. The original plan is in the 1939-1944 Spring Styles Book held by the Naval History and Heritage Command.
