What the Navy Is Doing: Converted Yacht Makes Huns Surrender

Text of poster. What the Navy Is Doing. Converted yacht makes Huns surrender. Once a pleasure yacht the Venetia became a patrol ship in the Navy. Part of the Suicide Fleet this little vessel did good work overseas and brought praise to her officers and men. Officially the Venetia is credited with damaging the U-39, which disabled, sought shelter and interned in Cartagena Harbor. Right now apprentice seaman and machinists are being enlisted for the latter, knowledge of the machinist trade is required, or experience as machinist’s helper.
