Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme , intended for application to an escort ship of the John C. Butler (DE-339) class. This plan, approved by Captain Torvald A. Solberg, USN, is dated 12 September 1944. It shows the ship's port side. Note that this camouflage scheme calls for painting the ship's starboard side in Camouflage Measure 12, probably for comparison purposes during testing at sea.
