Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for aircraft carriers of the CV-9 (Essex) class. This plan, approved by Captain Logan McKee, USN, is dated 19 January 1944. It shows the ship's starboard and port sides, stern and superstructure ends. USS Yorktown (CV-10), USS Ticonderoga (CV-14), USS Wasp (CV-18) and USS Shangri-La (CV-38) were painted in this camouflage design.
