Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for dock landing ships of the LSD-1 (Ashland) class. This plan, approved by Captain Henry A. Ingram, USN, is dated 12 January 1944. It shows the ship's starboard side, the port interior side of the well deck, stern, superstructure ends, and exposed decks. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
