Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for dock landing ships of the LSD-1 (Ashland) class. This plan, approved by Captain Henry A. Ingram, USN, is dated 12 January 1944. It shows the ship's port side, the starboard interior side of the well deck, and superstructure ends. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
