Description: (American Motor Yacht, 1913) Dressed with flags, prior to World War I. This yacht was acquired by the U.S. Navy on 5 July 1917 and placed in commission on 21 November 1917 as USS Clarinda (SP-185). Retained in service following World War I, she was sold on 1 June 1931. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
