Caption: Connecticut Government Abraham Ribicoff delivering dedicatory address at the opening of the mystic seaport on 11 July 1958. Relics from USS HARTFORD were dedicated "in memory of those who served aboard". The Relics -- anchor, cathead, fair lead station and chain are on indefinite loan to Marine Historical Association Inc. from the curator for Department of The Navy. The Cathead and anchor are seen behind the Governor. To the left is Mr. Philip Mallory, President of The Marine Historical Association.
