Caption: This insignia was received from the ship in 1968. At that time its history was not known aboard USS REMORA, but it appears to be a development of the insignia represented by NH 65236 KN. In this newer insignia the Golden Buddha that is the ship's symbol is depicted astride a submarine-like shape, which is firing torpedoes with the REMORA's numerals on them.
