Title: Rating Badge: Aviation Photographer's Mate
Caption: April 1948-July 1952. Bureau of Navigation Personnel created the AF rate for those personnel working with, and specializing in aerial photography. It was placed in the Group 9 (Aviation Branch) of the general rating structure. The wartime specialist rates were absorbed into both the AF and PH rates.
