Caption: Photographed at or near Port-Au-Prince, probably in May 1914, from aboard USS NASHVILLE (PG-7). VERTIERRE reportedly was purchased from the Bermudan government in 1907 or 1908, the former HMS COLUMBINE (ex- HIARTA, purchased February 1897; built 1889). PACIFIQUE was reportedly a former French Yacht; nothing more is known of her.
