Description: (American Motor Boat, 1916) Photographed prior to her World War I Navy service. This pleasure craft was acquired by the Navy on 10 August 1917 and placed in commission on 1 October 1917 as USS Aurore II (SP-460). Renamed SP-460 in 1918, she was sold on 24 September 1919. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
