Description: (American Barge, 1918) Under construction at the Harry Cossey Shipyard, Tottenville, New York, in 1918. Built for the Moran Towing & Transportation Company, of New York City, this barge was inspected by the Third Naval District on 23 April 1918 and assigned the registry ID # 2604. Subsequently taken over by the Navy, she became Freight Lighter # 92 and later YF-92. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
