Description: Photo #: 80-G-45672 Rhino ferry (RHF) USS LST-347 unloads a bulldozer and other materiel onto a rhino, which will transport the vehicles and supplies to shore. Photograph released on 6 June 1944, at the time of the Normandy invasion, in which both the rhino ferries and LST-347 took part. It was probably taken in an English port during the invasion preparation period. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
