S1c Edward Labedz was killed in action during a bombing raid at Rendova on 2 July 1943 while serving with the 24th Naval Construction Battalion. was buried at Cemetery #1, Rendova, and reinterred at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Capital District, National Capital Region, Philippines. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.
BM1c Adelard Lachance was killed in action at Guam on 28 July 1944 while serving with the 2nd Special Naval Construction Battalion. He was buried on Guam and reinterred at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.

CM3c Oscar Clifford Leaser was killed in action during the invasion of Iwo Jima on 19 February 1945 while serving with the 133rd Naval Construction Battalion. Lesser was buried at the 4th Marine Division Cemetery, Iwo Jima and reinterred at Woodland Union Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, Navy Unit Commendation for the Battle of Iwo Jima, and was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.
  SC1c Peter LeBlanc was killed in action after a skirmish with Japanese snipers at Tinian town, Tinian on 8 August 1944. He was hit by gunshots in the chest. He served with the 67th Naval Construction Battalion. LeBlanc was buried at Tinian Marine Cemetery and reinterred at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.

F1c Veikko Leivo was killed in action at Guadalcanal on 16 October 1942 while serving with the 6th Naval Construction Battalion. Leivo and his crewmates were supplying the destroyer USS Macfarland off the coast of when they were attacked by Japanese dive bombers. In the initial attack the bombers had missed but eventually hit a gasoline barge which killed 11 crew members. While Leivo initially survived the explosion, he succumbed to his wounds he sustained on the 16th were too grave and on thon 24 October. Leivo was buried at the 1st Marine Division Cemetery, Guadalcanal, and reinterred at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac, Michigan. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.
MM3c Dollard Lesage was killed in action at Guam on 26 July 1944 while serving with Construction Battalion Detachment 1039. Lesage was a member of a pontoon crew unloading cargo at Red Beach when he disappeared. His body was later found on Red Beach and believed to have been killed by Japanese snipers. Lesage was buried at Aran Cemetery #1, Guam and reinterred at Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery, Winooski, Vermont. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.

He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.
MM3c Tilden Leroy Luchs was killed in action at Saipan during the initial invasion on 15 June 1944. He served with the 121st Naval Construction Battalion. Luchs was buried at the 4th Marine Division Cemetery, Saipan and reinterred at Richmond National Cemetery in Henrico County, Virginia. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.
S1c Wilmer Lyons was killed in action while serving with the 6th Special Naval Construction Battalion alongside the 1st Marine Amphibious Corps at Vella LaVella on 1 October 1943. Lyons was  last seen unloading an LST near Narowai River.  He was declared missing in action on 2 October 1943 and declared deceased on 2 October 1944. Lyons is memorialized on the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery Memorial, Manila, Capital District, National Capital Region, Philippines. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal.
