WWII Killed in Action List "Q"

  EM2c Lawrence Quinlan was killed in action of wounds received after an enemy land mine exploded at Guam on 24 May 1945. He served with the 136th Naval Construction Battalion. Quinlan was buried at the Army, Navy, Marine Cemetery #2, Guam. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart, was entitled to the American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal
